Champagne Experience: 2025 Edition – Bologna

The city may have changed – we’ll no longer be in Modena, but in Bologna – but the partnership between Arco Spedizioni S.p.A. and Excellence SIDI remains unchanged. The flagship event for the wine world, and especially for sparkling wine lovers, the Champagne Experience, will be held at Bologna Fiere on October 5th and 6th!
The partnership that sees Arco Spedizioni S.p.A. as Excellence SIDI Partner – Società Italiana Importatori e Distributori (Italian Importers and Distributors Society) has continued uninterrupted since 2019 and is now in its seventh consecutive year.
The reasons are quickly explained and explained by our Operations Director Marco Osvaldo: “For years, Arco Spedizioni has represented one of the best road transport services in the world of wine and valuable goods. The company, with over 125 branches operating throughout Italy, serves 1,700 different customers, including wineries, distributors, and importers of wine and spirits. To give an idea of what we’ve accomplished over time and the importance of the sector, consider that we handle over 1 million wine and olive oil shipments annually, equivalent to 12 million packages and approximately 69 million bottles. This, of course, also has a decisive impact on the company’s turnover. This was also possible thanks to the introduction of the Green Line, a choice made in the early 2000s. This line is a point of excellence for Arco Spedizioni for the transport of valuable and fragile goods. A transport chain that stands out from traditional groupage, with operating procedures that differ from the standard, with the aim of ensuring the best possible care. and product safety. The green line is also dedicated to all premium wine brands and high-value wines.“
Let’s now turn to Lorenzo Righi, Director of Excellence SIDI: “Champagne Experience™ is the most important Italian event dedicated to the world’s most famous sparkling wines. Promoted and organized by Excellence SIDI, it brings together importers and maisons, largely represented by the same French producers present at the event. It’s a unique opportunity to taste hundreds of champagnes and participate in master classes with top-level wines and speakers.“
